Note- AIIMS and JIPMER not under NEET. Both exam will held as per schedule.

Union Health Minister JP Nadda- “All private medical colleges and deemed universities will come under NEET. The state governments will get an option to either conduct their own exam or go for NEET to fill UG seats.”

The states now have an option of either conducting their own entrance exam or to accept NEET score to fill 85% of the medical and dental seats. 15% of the remaining seats will be filled through NEET rank by all India counselling.

President Pranab Mukherjee signed the Ordinance on Tuesday morning which exempting state government medical colleges from the Supreme Court mandated NEET for a year.

NEET Phase 2 Application Form

NEET  referred as National Eligibility Entrance Test conducted by the CBSE  .Supreme Court allows all candidates to appear in NEET Phase 2 exam. But all those candidates who have already appeared in NEET Phase 1 conducted on 1st May 2016 have to give up their NEET Phase 1 candidature if they wish to appear in Phase 2.  It means that score secured in NEET Phase 2 would be considered for admission, and not NEET Phase 1 (if a student appears for both NEET Phase 1 & 2)

Registration process for NEET Phase 2 started now.The application form of NEET Phase 2  released by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)  for admission in MBBS and BDS course. Closing Date for Application form – 25th June 2016

NEET Phase 2 Application Form Fee

1)GENERAL/OBC – Rs.1400/- (INR)
2)SC/ST/PH Rs.750/– (INR)

What is NEET Phase 1 and NEET Phase 2?

This two-phase NEET system is only for this year(2016). From next year onward, there will be only one examination for admission in MBBS and BDS courses across the country.

1)NEET Phase 1

As per the Supreme court’s order, AIPMT-2016 conducted on 1st May 2016 will be treated as NEET Phase 1. The entrance exam was contain 180 multiple choice questions based on Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

2)NEET Phase 2

As per the Supreme court’s order, The NEET Phase 2 will be held on 24th July 2016(Tentative Date).

NEET Phase 2 Exam Pattern

NEET Phase 2 exam pattern will be same as NEET Phase1/AIPMT-2016.

1)Total 180 objective type questions( Physics-45, Chemistry-45,Botany- 45 and Zoology-45)
2)Test duration – 3 hours.
3) Marking Scheme – +4,-1 (Each correct answer will carry 4 marks and for each incorrect answer 1 marks will be deducted).

NEET Phase 2 Syllabus

NEET Phase 2 syllabus will be same as NEET Phase1/AIPMT-2016.

Eligibility Criteria 

1)Eligibility for 15% all india quota seats

Candidates who will be at least 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2016 are eligible to fill the application form. Along with this general category candidates must have passed or will be passing class 10+2 or equivalent exam with 50% marks while the qualifying marks for SC / ST / OBC category candidates is 40%.
AIPMT 2016 aspirants must be born on or between:
General category candidates must be born in between January 01, 1992 and January 01, 2000 SC/ST/OBC Category candidates must be born in between January 01, 1987 and January 01, 2000

2)Eligibility for State quota, Private colleges and other institutions –

Eligibility criteria for candidates seeking admission in MBBS/BDS seats under the control of States/Universities/Institutions shall be as per the rules of the State/University/Institution concerned.  We will update full details soon.

NEET QUALIFYING CRITERIA

Candidates must retain the following documents with them as reference for future correspondence

(a) At least three printouts of the Confirmation Page of online Application.
(b) Proof of fee paid.
(c) At least 5 copies of identical passport size Photograph that was scanned and uploaded on the Online Application.
(d) At least 2 similar post card size photos (same as scanned and uploaded on the online application).
(e) Copy of the system generated Self Declaration in respect of candidates from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and J&K who have opted for seats under 15% All India Quota .

Instructions for Photograph and signatures

1) Coloured passport size photographs(size of 10 Kb to 100 Kb JPG format only) with white background indicating clearly the name of candidate along with the date of taking the photograph to be used for uploading on online Application and for Admission.
2)One post card size (4”x6”) photograph affixed on proforma which will be collected from candidates by Centre Superintendent at Centre during NEET – 2 (2016) Examination. The photograph must be taken on or after 01.12.2015 indicating clearly the name of candidate along with the date of taking the photograph as shown below.
3)The candidates are required to upload their signature (size of 3 Kb to 20 Kb JPG format only) in the appropriate box given in the online Application Form in running hand writing.Writing full name in the Box in Capital letters would not be accepted as signature and the Application Form would liable to be rejected.
4)Right hand index finger impression (size of 3 Kb to 20 Kb) in JPG format only

    1. According to supreme court order ,AMU entrance exam is not valid now . Wait 3-4 days for official notice.

  2. Selection will be on rank basis. student with 50 percentile their rank will be around 2.5-3 lack . We don’t think in this rank student will get admission in MBBS.

  6. Sir if a student gets rank via neet to enter into Private dental college, does he /she will be asked for same fees as before eg . earlier as in case of direct admission huge capitation fees was taken.

  7. Sir mane 12th pcm se 2014 me up borad se pass kiya he 2015 me biology single subject se 12th pass kiya up borad se aur 2016 me b.sc 1st year zoology botany chemistry se pass ki to sir kya me eligible hu ya nahi neet2016 ke liye
