CBSE will conduct AIPMT 2016 or NEET Phase1 tomorrow on 1st May 2016. Candidates are advised to follow instructons to avoid any inconvenience. Only name of AIPMT 2016 is changed to NEET Phase1. Admit Card, dress code , eligibility and exam pattern will remain same as AIPMT 2016.
1)BARRED ITEMS
The candidates are not allowed to carry the following items inside the examination centre under any circumstances. The candidates will be subjected to extensive and compulsory frisking before entering the examination centre with the help of highly sensitive metal detectors.
(a)Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Pen, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner etc.
(b)Any communication device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band etc.
(c)Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Hair Pin, Hair Band, Charm/Tabeez (ताबीज़), Belt, Cap, Scarf etc.
(d)Any ornament like Ring, Bracelet, Earrings, Nose-pin, Chain/Necklace, Pendants, Badge, Brooch etc.
(e)Any Watch/Wrist Watch, Camera, etc.
(f)Any metallic item
(g)Any eatable item opened or packed, water bottle etc.
(h)Any other item which could be used for unfairmeans, for hiding communication devices like camera, Bluetooth device etc.
No arrangement will be made at the centres for keeping any articles/items belonging to the candidates.
In case any candidate is found in possession of any of the barred items inside the centre, it will be considered as use of unfair means and action will be taken against the candidate in accordance with the relevant provisions.
2)Dress Code
The candidates are instructed to follow the following dress code while appearing for AIPMT-2016:
(a)Light clothes with half sleeves not having big buttons, brooch/badge, flower etc. with Salwar/Trouser.
(b)Slippers,Sandals and not the shoes.
What do the candidates need to bring to the exam centre?
The candidate is required to bring following at the examination centre:-
1)Admit Card along with passport size photograph affixed on it;
2)One Post Card Size Photograph affixed on the proforma and One passport size photograph to be affixed on attendance sheet.
Candidates are advised not to bring any other item at the examination centres. There will not be any arrangement for safe keeping of any material at the centre. Neither CBSE nor centre will be responsible for any loss, etc.
Please Note: Ball Point Pen will be supplied to the candidates at the centre
AIPMT 2016 or NEET Phase1 Exam Pattern-
The AIPMT entrance test will be composed of one paper only comprising 180 objective type questions with four objectives on the subjects as Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
1)The duration of the entrance test would be 3 hours only.
2)Each correct answer will carry 4 marks.
3)For each Incorrect answer 1 marks will be deducted.
Important Points about NEET Phase 1
Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in WP (C) 261 of 2016 has decided to hold NEET for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in the Academic Session 2016-17. As per the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, following are clarified for the information of candidates:-
1)When will NEET Phase-I be conducted?
On 01.05.2016
2)When will NEET Phase-II be conducted?
On 24.07.2016
3)What do you mean by NEET Phase-I?
As per the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, AIPMT-2016 will be known as NEET Phase-I.
4)Who can appear in AIPMT-2016/NEET Phase-I on 01.05.2016?
Only the candidates who have applied for AIPMT-2016 can appear in AIPMT-2016/NEET Phase-I.
5)Who can appear in NEET Phase-II on 24.07.2016?
Only the candidates who have not applied for AIPMT-2016 can appear in NEET Phase-II.
6)Can a candidate registered in AIPMT – 2016 /NEET-Phase-I be allowed to appear in NEET Phase- II?
NO
7)Can a candidate remain absent in AIPMT-2016/NEET-Phase-I be allowed to appear in NEET Phase-II ?
NO
8)Can a candidate be allowed to appear in both NEET Phase I and NEET Phase- II?
NO
The students who are going to travel alone to the respective centres will obviously carry money and other such required things. Isn’t it the responsibility of the centre to provide space for them.
Who can apply in phase -2. Can they, those were not eligible due to not fulfilled their age in aipmt 2016
