Uttar Pradesh to accept NEET score
Mr. Anup Chandra Pandey( Principal Secretary of Medical Education UP)said that the decision has been taken that Uttar Pradesh to accept NEET score for admission in 85% of the state quota medical and dental. This decision of the Uttar Pradesh government has cleared the doubts of thousands of medical aspirants over UPCPMT-2016.
NEET Phase II is scheduled to be conducted on 24th July 2016. The first phase of NEET was held on 1st May 2016.

After Centre issued an ordinance allowing that states now have an option of either conducting their own entrance exam or to accept NEET score to fill 85% of the state quota medical and dental seats. UP government decided on 1st June(Wednesday) to go with NEET for admissions in MBSS and BDS courses. The Uttar Pradesh government has issued a notification stating that UPCPMT-2016 will not be held.

The Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad has directed to refund registration fee of all students who have applied for UP CPMT-2016. Details for the refund process will notified soon on the official website www.cpmtup2016.org. Returning of fees would be a tougher process because more than a lakh candidates had applied.

**Total number of seats in BAMS, BHMS and BUMS courses in U.P state around 700.
**BAMS, BHMS and BUMS courses will not come under NEET.

Yes,separate entrance exam will be held for admission in BAMS,BHMS and BUMS course in U.P state. CPMEE exam conducted by association of private medical colleges of Uttarakhand state.
