DMER Maharashtra is inviting online application in ALL INDIA BASIS  for  admission in Government MBBS/BDS seats surrendered from All India 15% Quota to Maharashtra state. Registration fee is 1000/- Rs and last date to register online 21st September.

Admission Process for Government/Corporation M.B.B.S. / B.D.S. Seats Surrendered From All India 15% Quota to State
Ref: Letter No.MEDD/1016/CR-359/16/Edu-2, Dated 19/09/2016

As per schedule given by Medical Council of India (MCI) vide Amendment Notification No. MCI-34(41)/2016-Med./123938 in Government of India Extra Ordinary gazette No. 314 dated 05th August, 2016, the All India Quota seats of MBBS/BDS courses will be transferred to the State on 20/09/2016 (after 5.00 pm). The said seat belongs to Government /Corporation Medical/ Dental colleges in the State of Maharashtra. The Commissioner of State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State, Mumbai will fill the aforesaid vacant seats on All India basis, using NEET – 2016 merit list. The schedule for this admission process is as under.

The surrendered seats will be of Government / Corporation Colleges in the State of Maharashtra. There are 21 Medical and 4 Dental colleges. So a candidate can fill maximum 25 choices during this application form process. In the list of surrendered seats, the names of some of these colleges may not appear. In this situation, such choices given by the candidate will be automatically deleted by the computer and he/she will get his higher choice as per NEET merit. It is better not to wait for display of College wise surrendered seats for filling of choices. They should not wait till last minute rush to fill the required information form.

Note:
1 As per provision in Government Resolution dated 31st May, 2016 any candidates cancelling the Medical / Dental seat at Government /Corporation colleges after 20th September, 2016 will have to pay rupees 10 lacks as a penalty for lapse of seat.
