Supreme Court stayed transfer of NEET-2016 15% AIQ MBBS/BDS seats to states

Today Supreme Court has put a stay on the transferring of the 15% All India Quota seats to the respective state. on September 20, 2016. The vacant seats, after the second round of online counselling for 15% AIQ seats by MCC, were supposed to be transferred to the state by 5 pm on September 20, 2016.

Notice 1

Regarding Non-Transfer of Vacant All India Quota UG seats (Session –2016) to States

In compliance of the order dated 20.09.2016 of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in Writ Petition (Civil) no. 652 of 2016 in the matter of Subhash Kumar & ANR V/s UOI & ORS the vacant 15% All India Quota Under Graduate (MBBS/BDS) seats shall not be transferred to States till
further order. Accordingly State authorities are advised not to fill up 15% All India Quota vacant seats of Round 2 till further orders.

The copy of the order dated 20.09.2016 of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in Writ Petition (Civil) no. 652 of 2016 in the matter of Subhash
Kumar & ANR V/s UOI & ORS will be posted in due course of time.

The State/UT/College/University authorities are requested to remain in touch with this website and also see the website of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India (http://supremecourtofindia.nic.in/) for updates.

Online Reporting of Resignation

Candidates who wish to resign from the UG seat allotted through 15% All India Quota UG 2016 Round-2 are advised to obtain online generated resignation /seat surrender receipt from allotted college (generated through online counseling software).

Facility for online reporting of resignation is available on your allotted colleges and will be available till 05:00 PM of 22.09.2016.

All Participating Institutions are requested to report online all those Resignation (Surrender) of Allotted seats, in respect of candidates who were relieved offline, if any.

Please note that there is no need to send information about Resignation offline in any form (through e-mail, fax, or by post).

Please note that if any candidate resigns, then she/he will not be eligible to participate in further round of 15% All India Quota Online counseling UG 2016.
