Online registration for AIIMS MBBS 2017 begins from 24th January 2017. AIIMS MBBS 2017 will be conducted in online CBT(computer based test) mode on 28th May 2017.

AIIMS New Delhi conducts Entrance Examination for admission to the MBBS Course of AIIMS, New Delhi and six other AIIMS (Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneshwar, Rishikesh and Raipur).
AIIMS MBBS 2017 Important Dates –

Entrance exam will be conducted in a two shift –
1)First shift/Morning shift | 9 AM to 12:30 PM |

Number of MBBS Seats in AIIMS 2017 –
Total 707 MBBS seats in 7 AIIMS
1) AIIMS, New Delhi:
This year 100 (Hundred) seats for Indian Nationals and 7 (Seven) seats for (Foreign Nationals) are available for admission to MBBS course. Out of these, 15 (fifteen) seats are reserved for the Scheduled Castes, 8 (eight) seats are reserved for the Scheduled Tribes, 27 (twenty Seven) seats are reserved for Other Backward Classes and 50 (fifty) seats for General Category for Indian Nationals. A 3% reservation for Orthopaedic Physically Handicapped[OPH] shall be provided on horizontal basis, in the seats available.
2) Six other AIIMS:
In the six new AIIMS (viz: Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur and Rishikesh,) with intake of 100 students each, the reservation policy followed will be 7.5% ST, 15% SC and 27% OBC, for Indian Nationals. A 3% reservation for Orthopaedic Physically Handicapped shall be provided on horizontal basis, in the seats available.
AIIMS MBBS 2017 Examination Cities-
Entrance Exam will be conducted in 171 cities throughout India(Please go through prospectus for details).

1)General/OBC Category: Rs. 1000/-
2)SC/ST candidates: Rs. 800/-
3)OPH Candidates: No fees will be charged
LANGUAGE OF QUESTION PAPER AIIMS 2017
Automated Question paper will be provided either in English or in Hindi according to the choice of candidates. Applicants must choose/indicate in the application form whether he/she prefers to have the question paper in English or Hindi. This choice cannot be changed later at any stage.

AIIMS MBBS 2017 Exam Pattern –
1)Time Duration – 3½ hours
2)Exam will be conducted in Online mode.
3)Questions- 200( MCQs and Asserting/Reason)
•Physics – 60 questions
•Chemistry – 60 questions
•Biology (Botany and Zoology) – 60 questions
•General Knowledge/ Aptitude – 20 questions
Marking Scheme –
1)Each correct response will get a score of 1 mark.
2)Each incorrect response will get a score of- 1/3 (minus-one-third).
AIIMS MBBS 2017 Eligibility Criteria-
1)Age Should be 17 years as on the 31st of December(2017) of the year of admission. Those born on or after 2nd January 2001 are NOT eligible to apply for AIIMS.
2)Candidate must have cleared their class 12th with ENGLISH, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY.
Candidate must have scored minimum 60% aggregate marks for General/OBC; and 50% marks for SC/ST/OPH candidates in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
3)Candidates who are appearing in 12th class can also apply.
IMPORTANT NOTE –
One of the common reasons for rejections of Applications is uploading of Photographs/Thumb Impressions/Signature that is not according to instructions and requirements. Kindly read the instruction carefully to avoid rejection of the application. It is preferable to keep the properly taken Photo/Thumb/Signature before filing the application form.

B)CHOICE OF EXAMINATION CENTRE
1. The city for examination will be chosen by applicants after submission of examination fees on the first come- first-serve basis. However, before submitting the fee candidate can check the availability of the seat.
2. The applicants can choose any available city and it will be immediately allotted to the applicant. (This option will be active only after payment of fees)
3. There will be a drop down list of States then choose cities where examination will be conducted in Online Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
4. The centre of examination once chosen and allotted will not be changed and any request in this regard will not be entertained. (Select the choice of city with utmost care).
5. As the seats in respective cities are limited, Applicants are advised to register themselves, make payment, Choose city and submit their application format at the earliest without waiting of the last date, to avoid not getting the choice of city.
C)UPLOADING OF PHOTOGRAPH/SIGNATURE/ THUMB IMPRESSION
Instructions for photo upload:
1. Draw a box of 3.5 cm horizontal and 4.5 cm vertical size. (3.5cmX 4.5cm)
2. Paste the photo in the box drawn. The photo should have white background and should be taken professionally, so that it may not blur while enlarging it. Photograph must be clicked within six months from online Registration opening date. The Photograph should fill the entire box.
3. Scan the box only containing the photo pasted not the whole sheet at 200 dpi. During scanning most software allows selection of the desired area for final scanning after initial preview & scan.
4. Save the scanned images as jpg/jpeg/gif/png as “Photograph.jpg” or “Photograph.jpeg” or “Photograph.gif” or “Photograph.png”
5. Size of the scanned image should be between a minimum of 50 KB and maximum of 100 KB)
Instructions for signature upload:
1. Draw a box of size 6 cm horizontal and 3 cm vertical (6cmX 3cm)
2. Use a thick tip black/blue ink pen (preferably fountain pen)
3. Sign inside the box drawn only. Signature should be clear without overwriting
4. Scan the box containing the signature only, not the whole sheet at 200 dpi. During scanning most software allows selection of the desired area for final scanning after initial preview & scan.
5. Save the scanned images as jpg/jpeg/gif/png as “Signature.jpg” or “Signature.jpeg” or “Signature.gif” or “Signature.png”
6. Size of the scanned image should be between a minimum of 10 KB and maximum of 50 KB)
Instructions for Thumb Print upload:
1. Draw a box of 4 cm horizontal and 3 cm vertical (4cmX 3cm)
2. Left thumb impression is required. Use a blue/black ink pad for the thumb impression.
3. Put your thumb print in the box drawn on paper sheet. Do not press thumb too hard or too light. Practice on a sheet of paper before hand so that the right amount of pressure is applied to obtain a clear impression of the lines/curves of thumb impression. Please ensure that the ink is on the entire area of the thumb required for the impression.
4. Scan the box containing the Thumb print only, not the whole sheet at 200 dpi. During scanning most software allows selection of the desired area for final scanning after initial preview & scan.
5. Save the scanned images as jpg/jpeg/gif/png as “Left Thumb Impression.jpg” or “Left Thumb Impression.jpeg”or“Left Thumb Impression.gif” or “Left Thumb Impression.png”
6. Size of the scanned image should be between a minimum of 10 KB and maximum of 50 KB)
