AMU-2016 MBBS/BDS registration

Registration process for admission in MBBS/BDS course in AMU through NEET has been started now.

As all of you know that admission in MBBS/BDS course in AMU will be on baisis of NEET score according to earlier official notication released by Aligarh Muslim University(AMU). All those students who wants to take admission in AMU for MBBS and BDS course have to register themself on AMU website.

Start of online registration –    23rd June 2016
Last date of registration –         13th July 2016  (Changed to 23rd July 2016)
Last date to submit documents at AMU office- 23rd July 2016 (Changed to 27th July upto 5 P.M)

Candidates have to upload their coloured Photograph (with White background) and in JPG/JPEG format. The file size should be 10KB to 40KB

Who is Eligible to Register
1)All candidates who have already applied for AMU MBBS/BDS admission test and were issued issued Roll Numbers(Both Presentess/Absentess)
2)All other Indian Nationals who have not applied Earlier or whose application was rejected because of any reason.

AMU official notification released on 4th June,2016

In view of the order passed by the Honorable supreme court of India in the Writ Petition (C) No. (S) 261/2016 dated 09 May 2016, the Ordinance No. 4 of 2016 promulgated by the Honorable President of India, the legal advice from the University Counsel and as authorized by the Academic Council, following is notified:-

(a) The result of the MBBS/BDS Entrance Test conducted on 10.04.2016 for the session 2016-17 stands cancelled.
(b) AMU will not conduct separate Entrance Test for admission to MBBS/BDS and has decided to Admit the student in MBBS/BDS based on the scores obtained by the candidates in NEET-1 / NEET-2
(c) All candidates including NRI aspirants, who are desirous to seek admission in MBBS / BDS in AMU, Aligarh, and who did not appear in NEET-l or wish to appear again, should appear in NEET-II scheduled on 24.07.2016 or at any other date as notified by the conducting agency. (d) Candidates should follow the entire procedure laid down by the body which conducts NEET, all aspirants desirous for admission in MBBS/BDS in AMU, including those whom roll nos. were allotted to appear in Tier – I Test have to  register themselves online on the website www.amucontro|lerexams.com. The link shall be available from 23rd June – 13th July 2016 (Changed to 23rd July 2016).  After applying online, they have to submit PDF generated copy in AMU either in person or through Registered Post by 23rd July 2016 (Changed to 27th July upto 5 P.M). However, PDF generated copy is not required from the candidates whom roll numbers have already been allotted by AMU for appearing in Tier-I Test.
(e) Candidates who have already applied to AMU and were allotted Roll Nos. will be allowed to register without paying any Registration/ Processing fee. However  other aspirants are required lo Pay Rs. 500/- as processing charges.
(f) Admission in MBBS/BDS in AMU shall be offered as per existing admission policy ofthe University including NRI Admissions
(g) Within 10 days of the declaration of the results of NEET.  registered aspirants shall apply again online through our website along with their score cards of NEET. This link shall be available after NEET has declared its results
