COMEDK UGET 2016 application form are available from 8th February . Candidates who wants to appear in Comedk can register now.
COMEDK 2016 is for admission to undergraduate engineering, MBBS, BDS courses in member participating institutions. It is for admission into the private quota seats of the participating colleges.
14 Medical, 25 Dental and more than 150 engineering colleges in Karnataka who make available almost 20,000 seats takes admission through COMEDK UGET 2016.
Two major changes this year in Comedk UGET Exam
1) Exam will conducted in online mode (Previous year mode of exam was offline)
2) Test centre will be across the country.(Previous year exams center was only in Karnataka State).

2)PCM(B.E)- 180 Questions

3)PCMB(MBBS/BDS & B.E)- 300 Questions

Marking Scheme –
1)Each question carries 1 mark
2)No negative marking.

2)PCM(B.E)- 1200/- Rs
3)PCMB(MBBS/BDS & B.E)-1500/- Rs
Eligibility –
1)Domicile : COMEDK 2016 is open to all the eligible students in the country and not only for the students of Karnataka. Students from all recognised boards can apply for the entrance exam.
2) Age Limit : The candidate should have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the MBBS/BDS course
3) Candidate should have qualified 10+2 exam with PCB (if medical candidate) or PCM (if engineering candidate) with English as compulsory subject.
4)Medical candidates should have obtained minimum marks in PCB overall – 50% (or 40% if SC / ST / OBC candidate of Karnataka state) and engineering candidates should have minimum marks in PCB overall – 45% (or 40% if SC / ST / OBC candidate of Karnataka state).
5)Candidates who have passed class 12th before 2014 are not eligible for medical entrance exam.
