MH CET 2016 is the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test. MH CET Medical 2016 is a state level entrance exam conducted for providing admissions to undergraduate medical programmes in the medical and dental colleges of the state, Maharashtra.

The application form can be filled in online mode only as no other mode is available.

1)Online application forms starts from- 1st March 2016
2)Last date of online application- 22nd March 2016
3)Last date for payment – 28th March 2016
4)Admit card: 25th April 2016 to 30th April 2016
5) Exam dates: 5th May, 2016( Thursday)
6)Submission of requisite documents: May 9, 2016 to May 16, 2016
7)Answer key published on- May 18, 2016
8)OMR sheet will be published- May 24, 2016
9)Result- June 1, 2016
10)Merit list – June 14, 2016

Application Form Fee-

1)General/Foreign National candidates: Rs.860/-
2)Reserved Category Candidates – Rs.660/-

Exam Pattern –

1)The paper will contain 200 Marks
2)Each correct answer will be rewarded 1 marks and no negative marking
3)Paper 1- Physics(50) and Chemistry(50) Time – 1 hour 30 min
4)Paper 2- Botany(50) and Zoology(50) Time – 1 hour 30 min

 

Eligibility Criteria –

1)Date of Birth-The candidate must be born on or before December 31, 1999. (Minimum 17 years in age.)
2)He/She must have passed the 10th and 12th (SSC and HSC) or equivalent exams from an Institution located in Maharastra state
3)Those who have passed the 10th and 12th (SSC and HSC) or equivalent exams out side Maharashtra state is also eligible to apply for taking admission in Health Science courses provided only if he/ she is residence of Maharashtra state.
4) For MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BUMS – A candidate belonging to Open Category must have obtained not less than 50% (i.e. 150 out of 300) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Examination. A candidate belonging to constitutional reservation (Annex. B) and constitutional reservation with Person with Disability claim must have obtained not less than 40% (i.e. 120 out of 300) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Examination. Person with Disability in General category must secure not less than 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Examination.
