UPMT 2016

UPMT( Uttarakhand Pre medical Test) is state level Medical entrance exam of Uttarakhand state, conducted by Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University, Dehradun. This exam is conducted to offer admission in MBBS and BDS course in government and private medical college of Uttarakhand state.

5)Last date of sending E-challan/Demand draft with printed application form to university is 30th April, 2016 till 05:00 PM
6)Download admit card through website on 5th May, 2016
7)Examination Date- 15th May, 2016(Sunday) from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM
8)Result – 31st May, 2016

Eligibility –

1)Age of candidates must be in between 17 to 25 years as on 31st December 2016. For reserved category candidates( ST/SC/OBC) the maximum age limit is 30 years
2) The candidates must have passed/appearing in class 12 th (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English).
3) Candidate must have scored at least 50% of total marks for general category candidate in 12th in PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC category.
4) The candidates must be having Uttarakhand domicile or he/she must have completed his 10th and 12th class from Uttarakhand state.

Exam Pattern-

1)200 MCQs ( Physics, Chemistry, Zoology & Botany having 50 question from each section).
2) Mode of exam – Offline mode (pen-paper based)
3)Time – 3 hours
4)Language – English and Hindi.
5)One marks will be awarded for each correct answer.( No Negative Marking)

Instructions for uploading Photograph, Signature and Thumb Impressions of candidate-

1)Photo must be taken on or after 21st March 2016 in JPEG format, Maximum size upto 50 kb
2)Signature: Using black or dark blue ballpoint pen, in JPEG format, Maximum size upto 30 kb
3)Left-hand thumb impression in JPEG format, Maximum size upto 30 kb
