WBJEE Board has released all the important dates for WBJEE 2016. As per it, the exam will be held on 17 May 2016.

Important Dates –
1)Application form will be available from 5 January 2015
2)Last date to submit the application form will be 29 February 2016
3)Required documents can be submitted till
2 March 2016
4)Application fee must be paid before 5 March 2016
5)Confirmation page could be downloaded till 31 March 2016
6)Application correction window (based on board’s feedback and self-induced errors) along with uploading of correct certificates etc by candidates 7 March to 12 March 2016
7)Issuance of WBJEE admit card 4 April 2016 (10:30 am)
8) WBJEE EXAM DATE : 17 May 2016
Biological Sciences- 9 am to 11:30 pm
Physics and chemistry- 12:45 pm to 2:45 pm
Mathematics- 3:30 am to 5:30 pm
Application form fee – 500/-Rs
Exam Pattern –
The question booklet will have 195 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. There will be 115 questions in Biology and 40 questions in each of Physics and Chemistry subjects.
WBJEE Eligibility Criteria –
1)Domicile- Candidate must be a permanent resident of the state of West Bengal from past ten years continuously (2006 to 2016) OR his parents must have been residing in the state itself. Duration or the period of residence will be calculated at the end of December 2015.
2)Age- A candidate must have completed his/her 17 years of age by December 2015. No upper age criteria has been set by the board for WBJEE Eligibility Criteria 2016 except for the marine engineering course, where the upper age limit is 25 years.
3)Educational Qualification-
It is necessary for the candidate to score a minimum percentage aggregate of 45% (General) or 40% (ST/SC) in class XII or equivalent exam (except marine engineering).
