Maharashtra government has been requesting central government to postpone NEET exam in Maharashtra state by at least one year because the state board students can not prepare for NEET in just 2 months of preparation.

I have asked Narendra Modi ji to intervene in the NEET issue, and bring an ordinance or re-approaching the Supreme Court. In Maharastra there are only 20% CBSE board students and 80% of students are from the state board. Taking NEET for medical entrance with just two months of notice will be unfair for the state board students of Maharashtra.

He also raised an issue than there is no books available in market for Marathi medium students to prepare for NEET.
Rural students will lose their dream of becoming doctors this year if NEET is conducted. We should be given a relied for at least this  year so that we can update our syllabus according to NEET.

Earlier MNS chief Raj Thackeray met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis over NEET Issue. He said i am not opposing NEET but it’s not possible for students to prepare for NEET in just 2 months.
