BFUHS releases Punjab NEET 2017 State Rank list

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences releases Punjab NEET 2017 state rank of those candidates who have applied Punjab as their appearing state in NEET 2017. BFUHS uploaded list on the official website of University. Punjab is the first state which has provided the state rank of NEET 2017.

The medical aspirants from the Punjab state can download the complete rank wise list from our website. It has been mentioned on the BFUHS official website that- although the university has the all India result, but to prevent its misuse the result of only those candidates who have applied Punjab as their appearing state in NEET-2017, is loaded so that the candidates could have a mental picture of their relative merit.

BFUHS has uploaded state list (On basis of NEET 2017 Roll no) on their official website. Although they have not mentioned students rank in that pdf file. That pdf file contains 555 pages, because of this students find difficult to know their exact rank. To solve this problem Entrance Mantra is uploading Rank wise PFD file from 1st to 14890th rank of Punjab state on our website.Although we have created this list carefully. But if any mistake is there in this list then we will not be responsible. This list is just for reference purpose.

This year the seats will be filled through NEET 2017 in the following categories All India Quota Seats, State Government Quota Seats, State/Management/NRI Quota Seats in Private Medical & Dental Colleges.

This year Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) didn’t disclose the state rank of the candidates appeared in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2017). Students are very confused about the admission process. Many such students asking the same question on Entrance Mantra’s Facebook page “CBSE has declared AIR only, how to know whether I will be able to get a seat in medical colleges in counselling of the state.”

All India merit list has been prepared in percentile which is determined on the basis of highest marks which have been secured by the candidates in the NEET.

Students of other states are still waiting for their state rank

CBSE has not declared state rank leaving a lot of students in big confusion. Many students who have secured NEET 2017 AIR rank in 7,000-15,000 range are in big trouble because they don’t know their state rank. That’s why they are not sure about whether they will be able to get admission through their respective state counselling.

Important notice by BFUHS

This is in reference to the queries raised by students after the BFUHS published the result of NEET 2017 for the candidates who had applied Punjab as their appearing state. Some candidates apprehend that they belong to the state of Punjab but their name is not in the result published by the University on its website. These Candidates had marked some other state while filling registration form of NEET. It is thus to clarify that candidates who are a bonafide resident of Punjab can still apply to BFUHS through the online portal in 85 percent category. By doing so they will still be maintaining their merit in 15 percent category of all India counselling.
